Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation (GTARC) provides efficient and effective contracting, grant, and research administration services for the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI). GTARC, a Cooperative Organization of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation organized under the laws of the state of Georgia and Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended.
Chartered in 1997, GTARC is organized and operated for the purpose of soliciting grants and contracts, accepting grants, and entering into contracts for research or services to be performed by or in conjunction with GTRI. GTRI is the business segment of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) that performs applied research, including activities covered by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Requirements (2 CFR 200) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 31.2.
GTRI is the largest research entity at Georgia Tech and has developed a reputation as one of the world’s premier university-based applied research and development organizations.
